If fairytales were to be real, it could happen only at one spot: Hallerbos, or the Halle Forest in Dutch and it is a scenic spot set in the tranquility of Belgium.
The main reason for this forest to appear like a fairytale is the dense carpet it has of bluebell flowers. The wonderful flowers bloom typically in spring and in early summer; when the blue and violet colors look prominent and change the appearance of the forest entirely.
There are hundreds of photographers and visitors who visit Hallerbos and similar forests in the early springs to watch the beautiful blooms. There is a layer of fog as well, which makes it a wonderful spot for the photographers and it is slightly apart from being spooky.
With the rich layer of bluebells, it is evident that this forest is very old. Although it necessarily does not mean that the trees present here are old as well; it is certain that this region has been in wood covers since the past 300-400 years. Scroll down to have a look at this scenic spot.
