It seems like cakes are becoming increasing complex in their decoration now than before. They have transcended into works of art rather than being food. Juliana Tar, aka Culinary Dots who is a Berlin-based pastry chef produced an awe-inspiring dessert that looks just like a vibrant bouquet of fresh floral. With buttercream flower confections we have marveled over these types of cake before. However, tar’s creations are a twist on this trend; she has perfected all natural raw cake. Vegan often eats raw cake as part of their diet and the tasty treats are not baked desserts. They either get their sweeteners from dried fruits, raw agave nectar, or other natural sweeteners. To get their bright colors, spices which have gorgeous orange hue such as turmeric are used. Tar only shared some of the ingredients like Mexican vanilla, wild berries, and blue matcha but she did not reveal her recipes. However, they have all helped to form edible art that’s blossoming with exquisite texture, at the same time showing the delicious beauty you can get when working with all- natural ingredients.
