Tom Hardy, an actor born in London, shared the saddening news that his lovely dog: Woodstock, was no longer alive. What was more shocking is that people started grieving for the dog that they had barely met and were emotionally touched by the dog.
It was when Woodstock was 11 weeks’ old that the car in which Hardy was traveling almost ran over it and he then decided to adopt the dog.
Ever since then, they have been the closest of buddies and Hardy also attended the premiere of Legend along with Hardy back in 2015.
The condition Woodstock was suffering from was polymyostisis; that put an end to the six years of loving relationship between Hardy and Woodstock. He said that he was highly grateful for the companionship and love that was offered and he said that is somewhere made him relieved that Hardy would not have to suffer anymore. Although Hardy is deeply gutted by the news, he said that Woodstock would be in a much better place than he was and wishes the best for him.
